Songs for Change: Songwriters in the Round with the Mudita Collective Orchestra

Join us on Saturday, June 1st, at Timucua Arts Foundation for an exciting afternoon of cross-genre collaboration featuring a Nashville-style songwriter’s round accompanied by the Mudita Collective Orchestra!

Song Stringer and Mudita America explores a new form of concert experience through cross-genre collaboration to make orchestral music more accessible while championing the voices of local songwriters. This concert will feature some of the standard orchestra repertoire and original compositions by local songwriters Yaeli Joan, Faae, and Kalani Rose inspired by the theme of “Change”.

Each songwriter will alternate in sharing a series of original songs, arranged for orchestra for the first time ever by local composers, to create a unique listening experience that blends the raw intimacy of the songwriter’s round tradition with the classic grandeur of orchestral music.
